Westerham Golf Club Wedding Videographer
Terri and Andrew’s Day
Two of the best things about being a Kent Wedding Videographer, is getting to work with lovely couples like Terri and Andrew and getting to return to capture Westerham Golf Club wedding videography. Terri and Andrew chose the perfect venue for their late summer wedding in Kent.
We always love capturing wedding photography at Westerham Golf Club because it’s such a stunning wedding venue with everything in one place. And because the team there are so friendly and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble.
On the day, we caught up with Terri and her bridal party, who were getting ready at the luxurious Donnington Manor Hotel in Sevenoaks. The suite was large enough to accommodate Terri, her bridal party, her make-up artist and us, who were there to capture the all-important bridal preparation for their film.
Terri looked amazing in her dress, which had a plunging sweetheart neckline and intricate lace detail. It skimmed Terri’s slender frame and then kicked out into a fishtail shape giving her an amazing silhouette in all of our images and film. It was complemented with a full-length veil and tiara. Terri’s long auburn hair was elegantly curled and styled to cascade down her back. She looked every inch the fairy tale bride and beamed all day. As wedding videographers in Kent do love a smiley bride; after all, it is the garden of England.

We captured a very sweet father seeing the bride moments before heading to Westerham Golf Club for the wedding. With Terri and her dad travelling in style in a vintage Rolls Royce.
Andrew also got ready at Donnington Manor Hotel and was feeling a little nervous; he and his groom’s party all looked very smart in dark blue three-piece suits with a lighter blue tie.
We all then headed to Westerham Golf Club, and we took our chance to capture some amazing drone images of the golf course, lake and fountains.
The wedding ceremony was held in Westerham Golf Club’s beautiful Eleanor Suite. This elegant space has a combination of white and some warm red brick walls. White drapes and festoon lights adorn the ceiling creating a magical vibe. And stunning ceiling-to-floor windows and a Juliet balcony offer spectacular views out across the fountains and lakes of the golf course and across to the Kent North Downs beyond. It really is a dreamy setting for a wedding ceremony. One thing few people think about when having their wedding at a golf club is how easy and enjoyable it is for their guests. Easy access, everything in one building, great parking, consistent staffing and stunning view. Especially at Westerham Golf Club.
Terri’s sweet flower girls wore pretty white dresses and performed their duties perfectly, and her bridesmaids looked elegant in navy.
The wedding ceremony was beautiful and emotional as Terri and Andrew had written their own vows. This gave the ceremony a wonderfully personal touch. After the ceremony, there was a fun confetti moment outside before guests enjoyed a drinks reception.
With Terri and Andrew’s guests happily catered for, we took our chance to whisk the pair of them away for a few minutes for a mini photoshoot around the stunning grounds of Westerham Golf Club. We got some lovely images and film of them by the lakes, the fountains and the romantic rose garden. If you haven’t already, take a look at the video!
Storytelling wedding film at Westerham Golf Club
The wedding reception was held in Westerham Golf Club’s gorgeous Valence Suite. With its wood-burning fireplaces, oak-beamed high ceilings and large balcony offering stunning views, it was both rustic and cosy and elegant and stylish all at the same time. The perfect space for a wedding celebration. Everybody enjoyed a delicious wedding breakfast, and there were some very well-received speeches.
During the reception, we took our chance to get some great images of guests, both candid and some group images of the wedding party.
Evening celebrations started with the cutting of a delicious-looking wedding cake that had a wedding topper couple on it who were the spit of Terri and Andrew. The cake looked amazing. This was followed by a romantic first dance for Terri and Andrew, then a sweet father-daughter dance as well.
It didn’t take long for guests to join the dancefloor. These guys were really up for a party, and it was a delight to see everybody, young, old and everything in between, on the dancefloor together. We stayed in the background, and that meant we were able to capture real moments of guests enjoying themselves. There was a fun photo booth (who doesn’t love a photo booth) and a fireworks display.
We love fireworks at weddings, and they add some excitement at a time of the day when you think all the surprises are over. They also help make an amazing film. And the image of Terri and Andrew embraced whilst watching the fireworks above them felt like the sequence to close the story of their beautiful day.
An emotional, fun, family-friendly wedding at a stunning venue for this lovely couple. Congratulations to Terri and Andrew for getting married, and thank you for allowing us to tell the story of it with our carefully crafted wedding films. We hope they will enable you to relive your day again and again for many years to come and share it with family and friends.
We’ll leave the last words to Terri and Andrew. Here’s what they had to say about working with us.
“What an amazing day …… We had a big chunk of family over, so we decided to have a movie viewing of the film, and it was so emotional watching it all back. Thank you so much for this, the video is beautiful and caused a few tears so the tissues were thrown between family members”
